HATHA YOGA

Hatha yoga is a traditional style of yoga focusing on physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) to align the mind and body, build strength, and increase flexibility. It uses a slow, static pace with poses held longer to promote balance, mindfulness, and prepare the body for meditation. The word "Hatha" can be understood as the "forceful" practice of physical postures or as the union of "ha" (sun) and "tha" (moon), symbolizing the balance of opposites and energy within the body. ​

I teach in English or Spanish. My classes are great for beginners and intermediate practitioners. I advocate alignment, but I preach principles. Principles allow you to technically interpret your way into a yoga pose, finding what feels nourishing and sustaining to the body. This is reflected in the way I build and lead my classes, offering plenty of options and variations to find space and 'freedom in the form' for all different body types and levels.

Yoga is so much more than a bunch of postures. It is a way of carrying oneself in the world. ​
Booking
A private yoga class with me last 1.5 hrs and costs € 65. You can come to my home in Conil de la Frontera (Andalusia, Spain), I can come to your venue/home (depending on the location) or we can practise online together via Zoom.
