THAI YOGA MASSAGE AND LOMI LOMI
Thai Yoga Massage (nuad boran) is a unique and powerful healing art that combines acupressure, stretching and assisted yoga to stimulate the free flow of energy, facilitating the homeostasis of body, mind and soul. ​It is performed on a padded mat on the floor, and the receiver remains fully dressed. ​​If you prefer oil-massage, please scroll down for Lomi Lomi description.

Traditionally, Thai massage was offered on the grounds of Buddhist temples and was an extension of spiritual practise, particularly meditation. The emphasis is on deeply listening and responding, rather than doing or fixing. The act of listening invites me to continuously respond to meet the client’s specific needs in each moment. This means that there is no set format for the massage itself, so no two Thai massages are the same. The treatment may be slow and relaxing or faster and more invigorating, using different techniques depending on how your being responds.
I work intuitively, using a fluid, rhythmic touch, evoking the breakthrough of systematic patterns and tension. The approach is holistic and energy-based which I like to describe as an alchemy of touch.

Booking
A Thai Massage treatment with me is 1.5 hr and costs €65. There is also the option to combine massage (1 hr) with sound healing (30 min). You can come to my practise in Conil de la Frontera (Andalusia, Spain) or I can come to your place at added cost, if you live in the area.

Lomi Lomi is a massage that uses long, flowing, rhythmic movements, particularly with the forearms, to mimic the motion of ocean waves for deep relaxation and healing. It is a holistic and spiritual practice that aims to release physical and emotional tension, promote well-being, and help harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. The connection to the ocean is both symbolic of the flowing movements and historically rooted in the Hawaiian islands.

The distinction between a Lomi Lomi massage and other types of oil massage lies in the rhythmic nature of the strokes; rather than using kneading techniques or vigorously pressing into the skin, each stroke has its own flowing style that works with your body's natural rhythms. Unlike a deep tissue massage (which can be uncomfortable for some) a Lomi Lomi massage is all about soothing touch and relaxation.

Aside from promoting relaxation and emotional wellness, a Lomi Lomi massage also promotes lymphatic drainage, (which helps to cleanse toxins from the body), improves blood flow and promote healing throughout the body, and relieves muscle
This is an oil massage, so (contrary to my Thai massage) you will need to be undressed during the treatment. I will place a towel around your buttocks, underwear can be kept on or taken off as you wish.
